AndrewAndrew attended law school at North Carolina Central University's School of Law, where he earned his Juris Doctor degree and graduated with honors. Prior to attending law school, Andrew earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in psychology from the prestigious Rutgers University, graduating with honors. He successfully passed the North Carolina bar exam on his first attempt. Many great attorneys take the North Carolina bar exam several times before passing.
Andrew was born and raised in the New Jersey suburbs. He first experienced the wonders of North Carolina when he was stationed at Fort Bragg as a U.S. Army paratrooper with the 82nd Airborne Division, leaving the Army as a decorated veteran. Following his time in service, he returned to New Jersey to fulfill his boyhood dream of attending Rutgers University. After graduation, Andrew worked in the home building industry, handling such complex matters as negotiations, planning, and employee supervision. During the same period, Andrew volunteered in his community as a firefighter. As part of this experience, he graduated from the fire academy, and successfully earned a state firefighter license (NJ).
Currently, Andrew enjoys running marathons with his wife and spending time with their children and dogs. Andrew also enjoys woodworking, farming, and restoring old tractors, as well as being active in the community and with veterans' organizations.

Nastasia grew up in the small town of Evans, GA where she was the eldest of three children. Following high school, she was accepted to North Carolina A&T State University to study Political Science. While at NC A&T she served as member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority and was elected to the Student Government Association Senate advocating for the issues and concerns of undergraduate and graduate students. She graduated college with honors and then attended North Carolina Central University School of Law (NCCU) matriculating in the evening program while working during the day. She was drawn to again live in a small town and lives in Mebane, NC with her husband, David, and her beagle, Dallas.
As a law student, Nastasia served as a legal intern with the Durham County Attorney's Office assisting attorneys with child support enforcement cases. She also served as a legal intern with the office of McKissick & McKissick conducting legal research. She has assisted low-income clients in need of legal representation while working with NCCU's Pro Bono Clinic and the Legal Aid of Durham. Also while a law student, Nastasia worked as a paralegal with The Law Offices of Andrew J. Kisala, gaining experience in the areas of Family Law, Traffic, Personal Injury, and Contractual matters. After passing the N.C. Bar Exam, Nastasia was offered the opportunity to partner with Attorney Andrew Kisala, which she accepted. Nastasia focuses her legal practice to the issues of Family Law, Estate Planning, and Contractual matters and she practices in the North Carolina counties of Alamance, Orange, Durham, and Wake.
